I delivered a conference paper entitled ‘Metaphors of Containment: Using Cephalopods to De-Anthropocentrise Digital Metaphors’ at a preconference to the 2023 International Communication Association conference in Toronto, Canada. The preconference took place in the University of Toronto’s historic Coach House where Marshall McLuhan, the ‘father of media studies’, worked. It was an honour to present in such a space!

A Reconceptualisation of Algorithmic Filtering’ at the Everyday Algorithms international conference and final public event for the project, ‘Algocount - Public Perception of Algorithms in Society: Accounting for the Algorithmic Public Opinion’. The conference was held in the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, Italy.
